No grant writer can guarantee funding. However, we ensure that your proposals are compelling, aligned with funder priorities, and highly competitive. Success depends on factors such as organizational readiness, and alignment with funding priorities.

🔹 How long does the grant writing process take?
It depends on the grant size, complexity, and funder requirements. Typically, grants take 20-40+ hours to research, draft, and refine. We provide a Scope of Work (SOW) before starting so you know what to expect.

🔹 Why is the Grant Readiness Program required before applying for funding?
It is only required if your organization lacks essential documents, financial structure, or impact data. This 5-week program ensures you meet funders' expectations and are positioned for success.

🔹 Can we complete the Grant Readiness Program faster than 5 weeks?
Our structured approach includes weekly 45-minute strategy calls to strengthen your funding approach, but if you're ready to move faster, we can discuss a customized timeline.

🔹 Why is the Funding Strategy important before starting a retainer?

🔹 Can I purchase a Funding Strategy without moving into a Retainer Plan?

🔹 Why is there a 4-month minimum commitment for the retainer plan?
Grant funding is a long-term strategy, not a quick win. Funders operate on specific cycles, and successful grant-seeking requires ongoing research, writing, and relationship-building. A 4-month commitment ensures we can secure meaningful funding opportunities.

🔹 What happens after the 4-month retainer period?
After the initial 4 months, you can choose to continue month-to-month or renew for another 4-month cycle depending on your funding needs.

🔹 What if I don’t use all my hours in a given month?
Retainer hours do not roll over. This ensures we maintain momentum and actively pursue grant opportunities for your organization.

Single Proposal Grant Writing

🔹 How do I know how many hours it will take to write my grant?
Before we begin, we create a Scope of Work (SOW) outlining the estimated time needed based on funder requirements. The SOW requires a $25 good faith payment, and once approved, we collect payments in stages (50% upfront, 25% after the initial draft, and 25% before final submission).

🔹 Do you only write grants, or do you also submit them on our behalf?
We prepare the full grant proposal, and in most cases, submit them on your behalf. If you should need to submit the grant, we will guide you through the process.
