Since 1998, our CEO, Business Strategist, Chi Dates has been helping small businesses. She surrounded herself with other bright and compassionate women who she has partnered with throughout the years. Our team has an obsession with growing the dreams of small business owners. Chi has even provided a way to help those who may not typically be able to afford services that could really help them. When not serving the clients of The Dates Group, you can find her working one-on-one with the beneficiaries of the 501(c)(3), The Dates Group Project. My name is Samantha Lewis. My husband, DJ and I had a dream to start a Chicago-style food truck in Sioux Falls, SD after living here for years and not being able to find anything close to the food we were use to. Ultimately, we wanted a restaurant but decided a food truck was easier to start. We signed up with The Dates Group to help us realize our dream. Chi and her team have been able to help us establish our business, Windy City Bites. They helped us to understand business credit and led us in the right direction.
Through our business plan and operational mentoring, we were able to graduate from a food truck to a full restaurant thriving in the heart of Sioux Falls.
